5 minutes by car; Good food and a good place to make calls to the US while having a beer in the bar.

KiKi's:

A must with good ethnic food and pizza's and burgers; very reasonable.

The grocery store by our house:

One block to the right of our house and down the street has a new restaurant on the side with great pizza and good fast food. This market has all of your basic supplies.
